Happy Spinning!
As many of you know my passion for animals and the MSPCA at Nevins Farm is immeasurable. My love started back in 2011 when I volunteered at Nevins Farm and quickly upgraded to a full-time staff member. Since then I've seen many situations which warmed my heart and then some that inevitably broke my heart. The MSPCA's mission "is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.” – I am thrilled to be part of an amazing organization with one common goal – compassion for animals!
This year I’m participating in a spin cycling fundraiser for all the animals – I’m spinning for their courage, their bravery, their endless love, and their ability to bounce back from a major hurtle in their life. I’m spinning to prove that shelter animals are not broken, a common myth I sadly hear. I’m spinning for a cause – a cause that indirectly provides all animal lovers and adopters with unconditional love.
The MSPCA takes in nearly 7.000 animals each year and is not funded by the government – we rely solely on donations. Your support will help with the endless amount of medical care, spay/neuter programs, educational programs, housing, and the massive amounts of food and treats we need – and more!
Please help me exceed my goal and help me get one step closer to ending homeless animals!
