Hi! My name is Gus and I am a foster kitten.
I was found in someone's basement when I was 4 weeks old. I am not sure where my mom and litter mates went, and it was scary all on my own. Thankfully, a good samaritan brought me to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm and I became a part of their foster program.
I wasn't really sure what "foster" meant and if being a part of the program was a good thing or not, but it turns out that it means I get to go live with a volunteer foster family and get a human foster mom. She feeds me whenever I get hungry, cleans me up when I get messy, and cuddles with me when I am lonely. So, all in all, it's a pretty great deal.
Yesterday, I heard my foster mom talking to another foster mom and it turns out I am not alone! She said that over 1,000 animals just like me need foster care every year at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm and the supplies we need can get expensive.
So, even though I am just a little guy, I am going to try to raise money to help the MSPCA buy the wishlist supplies the foster program uses all the time. (I especially like the SnuggleSafe heating disk that keeps me warm at night.)
Won't you consider making a donation to help this wonderful program continue the great work they do with those of us who need them so much?
