Anyone who knows me knows that the MSPCA is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. After volunteering at the Springfield shelter for over two years, I have been volunteering at the Boston shelter since last fall. My hours there each week are among the most fulfilling that I have, and I leave each week with a renewed sense of urgency for this work that my friends do. In addition to volunteer work, all of my feline kids are MSPCA alums, and I know that all of my future kids will be as well.
Though I am having a knee surgery that prevents me from actually participating in the walk, I will be participating in this year's MSPCA Walk for Animals as a fundraiser.
