Help Animals with Medical Needs
This year the Fast & Furriest is going to be a virtual event which ends May 31st. This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the MSPCA. All of the money raised will help all of the animals at the MSPCA.
I have been volunteering at MSPCA at Nevins Farm for 7 years. All of the animals that come to MSPCA are provided medical care. They get medical exams, vaccinations, spayed & neutered, bloodwork, dental cleanings & dental surgeries.
Fast & Furriest fundraising ends on May 31st! During May I will be sharing stories of 3 more animals that needed extra medical care and attention. Pictured above is Rickie & Lucie 13 year old sisters. They spent sometime in the shelter and sometime in foster care. Rickie received an exam, blood work and medication for hyperthyroidism. She then went to Angell Medical Center and received I-131 Radioactive Iodine Treatment. This treatment has made it so she no longer needs medication for her hyperthyroidism. Lucie received an exam, blood work, dental extractions & a dental cleaning. They were adopted at the end of April.
Please donate if you can, even if its a few dollars it will make such a big difference to all of the animals!
