Other Ways to Remember a Pet

Tribute and Memorial Giving
Celebrate, honor and/or remember the people and animals who touch our lives by giving an MSPCA tribute or honor gift.

Tree of Life
Enter the lobby of Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston and you’ll see the elegant “Tree of Life” brass sculpture, created by artist Sanford Werfel in 1990 in honor of Angell’s 75th anniversary. Add your own leaf to commemorate the life of a beloved pet.

Programs at Hillside Acre
The Tree Dedication Program at Hillside Acre allows pet owners to choose a tree within the cemetery to dedicate to a loved one.  For a fee of $250.00 or more (depending on location), we will place a plaque and plant flowers, in honor of a loved one, at the tree of your choice.

The Stone Memorial Program allows pet owners to dedicate a granite stone in honor of a loved one. The stones will be placed in our peaceful sitting area beneath a sprawling Maple tree. Fees vary depending on the size of the memorial stone.

Please call Hillside Acre at 978-687-7453, ext. 6109 for more information on these programs.

The Mission of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty and work for a just and compassionate society.
