Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with the Angell Animal Medical Center’s Boston location! We are so grateful for your interest in our organization.

We receive many wonderful applications, and are simply not able to accept everyone who applies. All applications are reviewed within one week of being received. Potential matches will receive an email with additional information and next steps.

Before filling out this application, you should have read the complete description of the role you are applying for. We cannot accommodate exceptions to the requirements listed in the descriptions, or to volunteer shift times.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply. The MSPCA requires a work permit for volunteers ages 16-17. Your completed permit must be submitted before you can begin volunteering.

Please note that volunteering will not include:

Shadowing or observing veterinary staff as a primary focus
Assisting with medical care or procedures for patients
Handling or transportation of patients

Parents or other parties filling out this form on behalf of an applicant must first email AngellVolunteer@mspca.org to discuss if the opportunity being applied for is an appropriate match.
