This 12 year old spayed female cat is looking for her new home. Stoney is a bit on the shy side so
would do best in a very quiet home with a low key lifestyle (not a lot of visitors/comings and goings).
She would need some time to adjust to her new surroundings, and would likely do best as the only animal in the home. In her own time once she gets to know her person, she is very affectionate.
Stoney is hanging out in a less stressful area of the adoption center, so please ask staff for more info.
Feel free to stop by the shelter during open hours (Tuesdays thru Sundays 1pm to 3pm) if you’re interested in adopting Stoney

Worried about ticks and flies around your barn this summer? Our guinea fowl can help! We have several male guinea fowl available for adoption and they are experts at eating up any and all insects around your property. They are a bit shy and skittish around people, but get along with each other very nicely and have easily coexisted within a mixed flock of roosters and hens. They have stunning feathers and a very distinct voice when they get all riled up. They are a super entreating bunch who love to zoom around in their outdoor enclosure and perch up high in the sunshine.
Ginger spice is a sweet young rabbit looking for her next home!
We recommend providing a safe indoor enclosure that allows a rabbit to stretch their legs and move around. The needs of each rabbit are unique and if you have questions about the right type of enclosure for the rabbit you are interested in, please let us know in your inquiry! We are happy to provide guidance and advice

Buzz is a sweet, young little guinea pig! He would love to go home with other guinea pig friends or his brother Woody!
Guinea pigs can make wonderful pets! They are very social creatures which means that they generally need at least one companion! Of course guinea pigs should only be kept with other piggies of the same sex. A pair of guinea pigs needs at minimum 10.5 sq. feet of cage space, or roughly 30″ x 50″ with a solid bottom, but more room is always encouraged! Guinea pigs can be quite noisy which can be lovely as long as you are expecting it!

Meet Artie! This handsome fella came to us from a home without much history known. He can take a little time to warm up and would likely do best in a quieter home. He lived with many other cats and would likely do well living with other cats!
If you’re interested in adopting a cat, stop by Tues-Sun from 1-4 during our open hours.
Pinky is ready to find a new home of her own! We are not sure what this
good girl is mixed with, but we think she will likely be on the larger
side. She is still learning the ropes and will need a patient family to
teach her all the doggie basics like walking on a leash and housetraining.
She could likely go to a home with another dog who could be a role model to
an annoying younger sibling. Pinky has been through lots of transitions in
her short life and is looking for a home that can help her figure out the
world in a safe and fun way!
Do you want to meet Pinky? Visit the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen
Tuesday-Sunday 12PM-4:30PM.

Say hello to Colin! Colin is young and active. He is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly and will lay down at your feet with some back scratches! He would make a great companion for a first time pig family where he can teach all about finding the best snacks and making the best wallow. Due to his background, Colin would prefer an outdoor home where he can enjoy the run and practicing his natural behaviors such as rooting. If you are interested in learning more about Colin, please submit an adoption inquiry form.

Are you looking for a dog with the perfect medium amount of energy? Look no
further than Patty. This best girl does not want to go for a lengthy run.
However, in her beagley way, she will never, ever turn down a long sniffly
walk. And she is a very good loose leash walker. Just ask her. Patty can
also be the perfect couch buddy for some binge watching. Her history says
that she likes some dogs and not others. She is also not a fan of cats.
Poor Patty has been through a number of changes recently and will benefit
from an adopter that will give her time and room to decompress and adjust
to her new home. Children who are old enough to give her space when she
needs it would be perfect. Would you like to meet this good girl? Come to
the MSPCA at Nevins Farm Tuesday-Sunday 12PM-4:30PM.

Kevin is a friendly pittie built kind of like your grandmothers coffee
table. He is big, low to the ground and really heavy. Kidding aside,
Kevin is a sweet, friendly guy who would make a great walking buddy. Hed
also make a great lounging on the couch buddy. This good boy loves toys
and can entertain himself. If he can have toys outside, then he is living
his best life. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to
go out. While he is doing well with his loose leash walking skills, there
are times he can be very strong and pully. He is hoping for an adopter
that will continue with his training. Sometimes Kevin is uncomfortable
with close handling. His family just needs to watch his body language and
it is pretty obvious when he wants to be pet and when he needs a break.
Kevin could probably live with a well-matched dog friend or a dog savvy
cat. This best boy has a good history with meeting strangers. Do you want
to meet Kevin? Visit him at the MSPCA in Methuen Tuesday-Sunday
12PM-4:30PM.
Adoption fee: $250*
*Adoption fees are subject to change based on current specials and may increase with training.
Meet Albert aka Albie! He and his old pal Walter are the cutest little old ponies we’ve ever met.
Albert leads well and has settled nicely into his routine of turning out for the day and coming in to our cozy barn for the evening. He and Walter share a paddock, a stall, and their meals – they are best buds! Albie’s teeth are quite worn, so he requires a soaked diet, but he is at a healthy weight and seems to be a relatively easy keeper. He does require a little extra medical maintenance due to his advanced age, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 25+ year old distinguished gentleman. Albert is patient for vet and farrier care.
These two little pony geldings would love a quiet spot to retire together. They are both very friendly, curious, and gentle. And they love a good grooming session! We haven’t turned them out with any other horses given their age and specific diet, but they could easily share a fenceline with friends. If you have experience with older ponies, these two guys could be a great match for you!
