In late December 2011, members of our MSPCA family lost a dear friend when Alison Irving, 24, veterinary technologist at Angell Animal Medical Center, was killed in an automobile accident. Through the generosity of Alison’s aunt and uncle, Karen and Don Irving, the Alison Irving Rescue Fund was established to honor Alison’s deep love for animals. The fund will pay for the medical needs of homeless animals in our adoption centers.
