This bill allows for legally enforceable trusts to provide for the care of one or more animals if the trust’s creator becomes incapacitated or dies; people's wishes and directions regarding their companion animals will be carried out if the Governor signs this into law - you can help.   Read more » 


    trapping law unchanged

    Beaver out of WaterThough Senator Rosenberg's reasonable amendment to the trapping bill passed the Senate, it was blocked in the House (it would have required collection of trapping data).  Fortunately, the harmful trapping bill did not make it back through the process, either.  We will likely see a number of trapping bills filed soon.  We'll keep you posted and let you know when we need your help again.
