federal legislation needs YOUR SUPPORT
The Massachusetts Congressional delegation has a very good record on animal protection issues. However, there are a few bills that can now use your support. A new bill, H.B.5092, filed after the Supreme Court struck down a more broad 1999 federal law, would ban "crush videos". Please ask your Representative to sign on to H.B. 5092 if he/she hasn't already done so. Also, please ask our new U.S. Senator, Scott Brown to sign on to ban horse slaughter (S. 727) and require fur labeling (S. 1076). Read more>>
