    Trapping Bill Passes Without Debate - ask Governor to veto H. 4943

    Unfortunately, in the final hours of the formal legislative session, H. 4943, a bill that whittles away at the Wildlife Protection Act (Question 1 ballot initiative) and allows more trapping of beavers with inhumane traps, was passed by the House and Senate.  This bill is on the Governor’s desk and we’ve asked him to veto it; please call him. Read More »

    Worcester Breed Specific Ordinance Hearing

    On August 10th at 6pm, Worcester City Council held a public hearing on an ordinance that will enforce various restrictions on certain types of dogs.  If you live in Worcester, or you live elsewhere but oppose breed specific legislation, you should contact city officials before they vote on September 7.  Read More »
