October 5th hearing and event on animal bills
Several bills relating to animals will be heard on Oct 5th at 1pm at the State House. Bills include: pets and domestic violence, increased penalties for animal abuse, farm animal confinement and many others. We're having a mini training event before the hearing; join animal advocates from around the state to learn about these bills

Senate Bill 1706, which will ban the use of the bullhook and restrict extended chaining of elephants in traveling shows in Massachusetts, is expected to have a public hearing in October, when Ringling Brothers is in town. Help raise awareness for this issue and speak out at the hearing. Read more>>
