Boston Schedule of Events
Sunday, September 13

Registration and Demonstrations: 11:00 a.m.
Walk begins: 12:00 p.m.
Activities and animal contests 1:00 p.m.
Fundraising and raffle awards 1:30 p.m.

Event Activities
There will be plenty of activities during the day to entertain both dogs and their two-footed friends.
 
On-site entertainment will include:

  • Raffle, prizes, food and music
  • Contests, Canine Agility Training, Live Entertainment
  • MSPCA-Angell gift shop
  • Cat table
  • Kids’ Corner activities
  • And more!

Registration
Registration and check-in is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you have raised funds offline, please bring pledge sheets and cash or check donations to the registration table on the Boston Common. The Walk begins at Noon. Registration is $25 per person and includes a Walk for Animals event t-shirt distributed at the event.

Route
Our walk around the Common will be about 1.5 miles long.

Transportation
Get Driving Directions. If you are coming via public transportation, get off at the MBTA’s Park Street station and walk to the Boston Common. The event will take place at the Bandstand.

Dogs Welcome
We welcome all dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs. Please be sure your dog is leashed, licensed, in good physical condition and up to date on all vaccinations. Leashed dogs are welcome on T trains and buses at the discretion of each individual operator. Please leave cats and small animals safely and comfortably at home.
