The Equine & Farm Animal Center

The Farm Animals and Equine Center at Nevins Farm is an animal care and adoption center for horses and farm animals.

The Center's education and outreach extends to local classrooms, summer camp programs, educational tour groups and working with animal owners in crisis as well as educating the general public about the needs of animals.

Animals for adoption

		Our Equine adoption program takes in surrendered, abused or injured horses. We are the only full-service, open-door horse and rescue facility in New England and one of only a handful nationally. In addition to providing care and adoption services for horses in need, the Equine & Farm Animal Center provides a 24-hour state-of-the-art ambulance service to New England veterinarians. To promote safety, we travel near and far to share our expertise and equipment and to teach emergency preparedness. 		Our Farm Animal program provides refuge for over 900 farm animals a year. We are proud to have a facility where we can care for the multitude of farm animals that are in need. Available for adoption are goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks and occasionally cows, donkeys and llamas.

Ways to help the Equine & Farm Animal Center Shop the Tack Box Open 12-4 every Saturday & Sunday at the Carriage Shed, the Tack Box is a volunteer-run shop offering donated new & gently used horse equipment, clothing, and other supplies at an affordable price.  Have stuff to donate?  Email us at barnstaff@mspca.org to arrange a donation.  All proceeds benefit the animals & programs of Nevins Farm.
