October 5th hearing and event on animal bills  

State HouseSeveral bills relating to animals will be heard on Oct 5th at 1pm at the State House. Bills include: pets and domestic violence, increased penalties for animal abuse, farm animal confinement and many others. We're having a mini training event before the hearing; join animal advocates from around the state to learn about these bills and what to expect at the hearing. circus hearing coming soon

[object Object]Senate Bill 1706, which will ban the use of the bullhook and restrict extended chaining of elephants in traveling shows in Massachusetts, is expected to have a public hearing in October, when Ringling Brothers is in town. DOggy 5k - run fur fun

doggy5kJoin us on November 6th in South Boston for a 5K race to benefit the MSPCA-Angell.  This is Boston’s only road race for you AND your dog!  We've also got great running shirts and you can raise money beyond your registration fee for the MSPCA by participating in the Run Fur Fun program!  More info>>
